- Regarding software engineering, the more work that is done, the more work there is to do.
- Is there a special place in your brain for the beliefs that your primal self believes it must protect at all costs, even if your intellectual self knows they’re not true? Where is that place? How can those beliefs be changed? Certainly not through facts. Maybe through beating? Is self-brainwashing something people should try more often?
- Garlic must have a chemical reaction in my body that it does not have in other people’s. Otherwise, no one would dare eat raw garlic because it is days before the breath smells normal again.
- Many people were in the park today, and I saw a jazz concert happening outside. I reflected on the resilience of the American people, before going in and watching TV.
- The corporation Apple has reached a valuation of 2 trillion dollars, which is so much money it doesn’t make sense. Meanwhile, a plague of evictions sweeps the country.
- In the evening, one can either have a cookie or a beer.
- Someone squeezed my avocados and then put them in a bag and delivered them to me, along with some other groceries. Home grocery delivery is bizarre. But maybe I’ll get used to it, like I’ve gotten used to having other non-food items shipped to me. Do I want to get used to it?
- I do not miss any of the social medias that I am not on. In fact, I do not miss most things that I do not have, unless someone I know has them and I think I should have them too. This is another reason it’s good to not be on social media.
