Taking vitamin D to be happier and healthier

Each day, after breakfast, my partner and I eat a vitamin D gummy. We are doing this to be happier and healthier. We do not actually know if we have vitamin D deficiencies. And I could not find any articles stating that taking a vitamin D supplement actually does work to eliminate vitamin D deficiencies. But, could it hurt? I also didn’t see any articles stating that taking this supplement when it wasn’t necessary was dangerous, provided you don’t take too much. I did research for about 5 minutes.
So, we are taking the gummies, and soon we will feel happier and healthier. But not for a few days, because yesterday I found out that we need to take two gummies instead of the one that we had been taking. Yay. We like the gummmies, and now we get to take two.
